Brook Park A-Frame

Very cute quiet place. We loved it.

I stayed at the A-frame for 1 night to watch the lunar eclipse and it was the perfect place for my stay.

My husband and I stayed here with our children for a wedding in the area for two nights. We were denied early check-in unless we paid an extra fee but wouldn’t be told if we could check-in early until that same day. The automatic calendar event address took us to the wrong location and upon arriving we noticed a significant ant presence. The listing notes it can sleep 4 but the pullout bed is not sleep-able. There’s a decent sized bathroom but the shower pressure was a glorified trickle. On our second night the power went out at 11:30pm and the hosts did not get in contact with me about the outage until after 10am the following day after I messaged and called the night before. When they did reach out it was to acknowledge the outage happened to a neighbor as well but nothing else. Due to the heat and unknown duration of the outage, we cleaned the cabin in the dark and stripped the bed as requested by the host before we left. I reached out and requested a refund for the night we were unable to stay and was ignored. Overall this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. These hosts tried to get money from us wherever possible and ignored us after a negative experience to avoid refunding us one night. I would not recommend this location for a stay in Mora until the ant problem, the water pressure and the communication are significantly improved.

We loved the cute, comfy, and cozy place. Very modern and had the things we needed inside!! Owner is very fast to respond which was great. Full bed can be a little small for 2 people but they listed that and we were well aware. Everything was super clean when we showed up! Definitely recommend and would come back.
